Bury Town Community Football Club is a registered Charity that operates on a not-for-profit basis to deliver healthy participation in football in Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas.
The Community Club are operationally separate from the first team Club Bury Town FC with its own management committee but we have a proud history and connection that see us bear the same badge. We are fortunate to hold annual events at Ram Meadow including our Presentation, Sponsors and Community Days.
The Community Club was set up in 2023 to deliver the youth, disability and womens football pathways, increase local participation and help to secure vital funding to secure the future for the teams that we operate.
With over 81 volunteers and over 350 active registered players Bury Town Community FC are now one of the largest in the region and we continue to grow.
Accordingly to a recent estimate the Club generates over £1,300,000 in social value through Social, Health and Economic benefits and we take great pride in partnering with local Charities to give back to the local community.
We are passionate about grassroots football and actively promote our ethos of participation, fun and development in all that we do.
