Ben Oxley – Chairman
I’ve proudly served as Chairman of Bury Town Community Football Club since September 2019, having first joined the club in July 2018 as a coach.
As one of the founding members of the Club’s charitable organisation ive been incredibly fortunate to be involved in shaping the Clubs mission and growth.
I’m deeply passionate about grassroots football and committed to creating inclusive, supportive opportunities for young people to stay healthy, active, and engaged through sport.
I am extremely proud to work with an incredible group of people and owe much to those who give up their time so freely for the benefit of others. I am also grateful for the guidance and support of the first team management for their continued guidance and support.
I’ve witnessed the continued expansion of the Club and increasing impact within the local community, fostering a positive environment where players of all ages and backgrounds can thrive.
Our coaches continue to inspire, unite, and develop young people both on and off the pitch helping to ensure that Bury Town Community Football Club remains a vital part of the community for years to come.

Jason Day – Operations Manager
Jason Day has been a dedicated part of the club since 2014. He began his journey as a coach at the club, shortly after completing his FA Level 1 qualification. His commitment quickly led to a wider role, and in 2017, he joined the club committee as Secretary until 2022.
In 2019, Jason completed his FA Level 2 and continued to take on greater responsibility. By 2022, he was coaching the club’s Under-18 team. The following year, he achieved his UEFA B Licence and became a club trustee. In 2024, he was appointed Head of Recruitment & Retention.
Jason has worked across all age groups, from five-year-olds to adult teams. He has played a key role in developing players and supporting their progression. Many of the players he has coached / recruited have successfully signed professional academies contracts.
His experience also includes time as Centre Manager and Coach at the Ipswich Town Elite Player Development Centre, as well as Lead Coach at Orange Soccer Academy.
Jason remains focused on helping players grow, stay engaged, and reach their full potential on and off the pitch.”

Jackie Skipp – Football Club Secretary
I’ve been involved in local football administration for over 30 years. When I met my husband he played football 4 times a week, so I either had get involved in some capacity or never see him! Over the years, I have been a club secretary, club treasurer, league secretary, and league divisional secretary, currently I am secretary and Trustee for Bury Town Community Club and registration secretary for Norfolk Combined Youth League.
The main reason I’ve stayed involved for so long is seeing the enjoyment and friendships that players get from sport which totally aligns with Bury Town Community Clubs ethos which is all about inclusion.
I’m currently responsible for the our club’s administrative tasks, scheduling, and correspondence. From managing memberships and liaising with league officials to coordinating meetings and handling club records, I am committed to supporting the club’s success on and off the pitch.

Carl Newdick – Welfare Officer
I have been part of the football club since 2016 in a coaching capacity and moving on to become the safeguarding and welfare officer in 2020.
After 5 years of coaching a team in 2024 I stepped away from week to week team involvement. I now solely dedicate my BTCFC time to safeguarding and welfare of the players. Keeping up to date with all the latest information and protocols from the FA.
I have also served as a trustee from the inception of the community club.
As a local individual it’s great to see that we support so many young girls and boys in providing football opportunities throughout all levels of local football in the area.
